Risk Disclosure

Last updated: June 2026

Please read this Risk Disclosure Statement carefully before using any signals or information provided by MasterBitcoin. This statement does not disclose all risks. Cryptocurrency trading involves a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors.

1. High Volatility Risk

Cryptocurrency markets can experience extreme price swings within very short time periods. Assets can lose 50 % or more of their value in days or hours. Unlike traditional financial markets, crypto markets trade 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with no circuit breakers or halt mechanisms. You may incur losses in excess of your initial deposit.

2. Leverage Risk

Many signals generated by MasterBitcoin reference leveraged perpetual futures contracts. Leverage amplifies both profits and losses. A 2× leveraged position loses 100 % of its margin on a 50 % adverse move; higher leverage can result in total loss of margin on a much smaller move. Liquidation can occur rapidly in volatile markets.

3. Perpetual Futures and Funding Rate Risk

Perpetual futures contracts do not expire but are subject to periodic funding payments. In trending markets, funding rates can become significant and erode position profitability even if the directional call is correct. Funding rates are variable and can spike dramatically during periods of high market stress.

4. Counterparty and Exchange Risk

Trading on any exchange involves counterparty risk. Exchanges may freeze withdrawals, become insolvent, suffer hacks, or impose restrictions. MasterBitcoin has no control over exchange operations and is not responsible for exchange failures or losses arising from them.

5. Signal Latency and Execution Risk

There is always a delay between signal generation and execution. Market conditions can change materially in the time between a signal being published and your order being filled. Slippage, exchange downtime, API errors, or network issues can result in materially different prices than those implied by the signal.

6. Model and Backtesting Risk

All signals are based on quantitative models that have been validated on historical data. Historical performance, even out-of-sample, is not a guarantee of future performance. Models can break down when market regimes change in ways not represented in the training history. The concept of "alpha decay" means that any edge can diminish or disappear as markets evolve.

7. Liquidity Risk

Some signals may reference assets with limited liquidity. In illiquid markets, large orders can move the market significantly (price impact), and it may be impossible to exit a position at a desired price. MasterBitcoin applies volume filters to reduce this risk, but they do not eliminate it.

8. Regulatory Risk

Cryptocurrency regulation is evolving rapidly across jurisdictions. New laws or enforcement actions could affect the legality of trading certain instruments or the availability of exchanges. You are responsible for ensuring that your trading activity complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.

9. Technology Risk

Automated trading systems, including any bots you operate using our signals, are subject to software bugs, connectivity failures, and unexpected behaviour. System failures can result in missed trades, duplicate orders, or positions that are not closed as intended.

10. No Guarantee of Accuracy

Signal data is derived from third-party market data feeds that may contain errors, gaps, or delays. We make reasonable efforts to validate data quality but cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any signal, score, or market data published on the Service.

11. Not Suitable for All Investors

Leveraged cryptocurrency trading is not suitable for everyone. You should only trade with capital you can afford to lose entirely. If you are unfamiliar with derivatives, leverage, or cryptocurrency markets, you should seek independent financial education and advice before trading.
